National Bank of Bahrain Strengthens Emirati Talent Engagement through Participation at Ru’ya Careers UAE 2026

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) UAE branch strengthened its engagement with Emirati talent through its participation in Ru’ya Careers UAE 2026, connecting with professionals and graduates as part of its ongoing focus on developing a future-ready workforce across its regional operations.

The event was held from 28th to 30th September at the Dubai World Trade Centre, where representatives from NBB Bahrain and UAE interacted with graduates, experienced professionals, and job seekers from a range of professional and academic backgrounds. Discussions explored career pathways across banking, the capabilities increasingly shaping the sector, and the prospects available for individuals seeking to build and advance their careers within a regional financial institution.

Commenting on NBB’s participation, Hend Mahmood, Group Chief Human Resources Officer at NBB, “Progressive organisations are built by continuously investing in people and creating environments in which talent can develop, contribute, and progress. Our participation at Ru’ya forms part of our broader efforts to increase the representation of Emirati nationals within our branch, while engaging with Emirati talent and identifying their potential at an early stage of their professional journey. Through this initiative, we aim to build long-term professional relationships and create future opportunities for growth and development. As NBB grows across the region, we remain committed to strengthening our national talent pipelines and developing a workforce well-equipped for the changing needs of banking.”

Yogesh Kale, Chief Executive Officer – United Arab Emirates at NBB, added: “Our growth in the UAE is closely linked to our ability to build strong capabilities and create meaningful opportunities for Emirati talent. Ru’ya allowed us to meet ambitious professionals and graduates, understand their aspirations, and introduce them to the breadth of careers available within NBB. These direct connections are valuable as we continue developing a team that possesses the market insight and experience reflective of the wider NBB Group.”

NBB’s participation in Ru’ya UAE Careers 2026 reflects its belief that sustainable institutional growth is underpinned by people who bring knowledge, diverse perspectives, and the expertise required to respond to an evolving banking landscape. As the Bank continues to develop its operations in the UAE, attracting and nurturing Emirati talent forms an important part of building an organisation that is strongly connected to the market it serves.
