Moxa Receives Prequalification from Saudi Energy for Industrial Networking and Computing Solutions

/PRNewswire/ — Moxa, a trusted leader in industrial communications and networking, is pleased to announce that it has received prequalification from Saudi Energy (Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) and National Grid (NG), Saudi Arabia, for its Ruggedized Industrial Ethernet Switches, Industrial Next-Generation Firewalls, and Industrial Computers.

All three product categories have been approved and added to Saudi Energy’s LOTAM (List of Technically Acceptable Manufacturers), enabling Moxa to provide an integrated industrial networking and computing solution for critical energy infrastructure applications, including Substation Automation (SA) and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI).

Moxa’s solutions can also support the migration and modernization of legacy substations, backed by extensive experience in upgrading legacy utility infrastructure worldwide.

The approval followed a rigorous prequalification process, including product testing at third party lab in the presence of Saudi Energy team, a factory visit, and proof-of-concept testing for various applications.

This prequalification strengthens Moxa’s opportunity to expand its installed base across Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East, particularly as the region’s power sector continues to grow with the development of AI data centers and large-scale giga projects.

With extensive experience working with utility companies globally, Moxa remains committed to supporting the region with reliable, secure, and rugged industrial networking solutions.

Moxa sincerely thanks the Saudi Energy team for their support, collaboration, and trust in Moxa.
