LG Electronics (LG) is taking its xboom audio experience to the next level, partnering with six-time Grammy winner and tech visionary, will.i.am. A collaboration that goes beyond a simple endorsement; will.i.am worked alongside LG’s mixing and mastering experts to fundamentally enhance the sound quality of the xboom range, ensuring a consistent sonic identity across all products while delivering a balanced and immersive listening experience that resonates with music lovers worldwide.
The first fruit of this collaboration and the “Boom Boom Pow” hitmaker’s influence will be seen next month with the launch of the xboom Stage301, a portable speaker engineered to deliver powerful audio in any setting. Boasting a 120W output, driven by a 6.5-inch woofer and dual 2.5-inch midranges, xboom Stage301 provides class-leading sound. Additionally, new EQ settings, including two bass modes (Deep Bass and Punch Bass) and Clear Voice EQ, will tailor the audio to practically any preference.
Stage301 is also designed for ultimate portability and versatility, where its rugged design meets IPX4 water resistance standards and offers multiple mounting options, allowing it to be placed flat, tilted back, or even mounted on a tripod. This go anywhere attitude means it’s ready for any environment, from indoor gatherings to outdoor adventures, with the replaceable battery lasting as long as 11 hours, allowing the party to keep going.
Adding to the atmosphere, the Stage301 features dual bar lighting that delivers dynamic visual effects, where users can choose from nine lighting presets or visualize their control on the speakers through volume and status indicators. Following the Stage301 launch, in July LG will release the xboom Bounce and Grab portable speakers which, like the Stage301, feature Al sound and Al calibration. The Bounce delivers wide soundstage with crisp highs, while the Grab has a conveniently stylish hand strap and is designed for outdoor use. Both speakers feature premium and versatile designs, long battery life (Bounce30 hours; Grab 20 hours), and customizable lighting options, ensuring they seamlessly integrate into any lifestyle.
