ClearOpx Joins Leading Industry Associations to Advance Operational Standards and Key Performance Indicators Across Energy and Commodities Sectors

Strategic memberships with Energy LEAP, GAFTA, and CCRO align with ClearOpx’s mission to elevate operational automation, risk management, and data consistency for global commodity market participants

ClearOpx (www.clearopx.com), the leader in operations trade risk management (OTRM™) for the energy and commodity markets, today announced its official membership in three premier industry bodies: Energy LEAP (www.energyleap.org), the Grain and Feed Trade Association (GAFTA, www.gafta.com), and the Committee of Chief Risk Officers – CCRO (www.ccro.org).

Through these strategic associations, ClearOpx will collaborate with global energy majors, trade organizations, risk leaders, and technology innovators to develop, standardize, and implement next-generation operational standards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across bulk commodities operations, digital trade, and risk management.

Standardized post-trade workflows and risk metrics have become increasingly critical as trading environments grow more complex and data driven. By joining these distinct leadership organizations, ClearOpx reinforces its commitment to addressing crucial operational pain points across the end-to-end supply chain through the following activities:

  • Energy LEAP (www.energyleap.org): Participating in working group initiatives, contributing operational and technical expertise to develop freely available, non-proprietary standards that promote seamless data exchange and advance post-trade digitization.
  • GAFTA (www.gafta.com): Contributing operational and technical insights to support fair, efficient international agricultural trade and standardized contract performance across international grain and feed supply chains.
  • Committee of Chief Risk Officers (www.ccro.org): Working alongside risk executives to define, refine, and champion industry-wide standards for enterprise risk management, key performance metrics, and operational governance in energy and physical markets.

“Fragmented processes and non-standard operational data continue to introduce friction, risk, and cost across global commodity markets,” said Rick Nelson, CEO at ClearOpx. “Joining Energy LEAP, GAFTA, and the CCRO allows us to work directly alongside industry leaders to establish actionable, high-impact operational standards. Together, we are building a more transparent, efficient, and standardized framework for operational performance and risk management across energy and bulk commodities.”
