Damco Solutions, a global digital technology services company, celebrated its 30th anniversary, endearingly termed Damco Day, with events spanning the globe, bringing together clients, employees, and leadership under the theme of Velocity: the idea that speed without direction is just movement, but speed with purpose is transformation.
Founded on May 1, 1996, from a basement in Delhi with a handful of developers and a focus on IBM AS/400 systems, Damco has navigated every major technology era, from the internet and dot-com boom to cloud, mobile, and now the age of agentic AI. Over time, Damco has partnered with 1,196+ customers with an average CSAT score of 4.86, delivered 5,790+ projects, and completed over 17 million hours of work. This year also marked Damco’s record-breaking financial performance, with bookings growing 72% year-on-year and revenue rising 38%.

The celebrations unfolded across two days.
A virtual celebration on May 1 convened the global Damco community where leadership shared the company’s 30-year journey. The session also reflected on the ‘Built Together’ client panel held just a day before. The panel comprising some of Damco’s long-standing anchor customers exchanged perspectives around their collaboration with Damco over the years. The conversations touch based on the trust that they have built over multiple projects, and how the team works as an extended arm owing not just the desired delivery milestones but business outcomes, ensuring accountability at every step of the way.
The in-person celebration on May 2 brought the India team together at The Tivoli, Oakwood Hall in New Delhi for an evening that moved from ceremony to conversation to gala. The night opened with the Annual Awards recognizing the year’s standout performers. It was followed by a Damcoites’ panel discussion that placed employee voices at the heart of the milestone. Dimple Gupta, Managing Director, Damco Solutions, then took to the stage for an inspirational keynote address before the evening gave way to a gala party, a fitting close to 30 years of showing up.
