AIRE Launches as AI-native Alternative to Traditional Consulting, Spanning AI Training Through to Implementation

Get AI Ready’s acquisition of AI Avenue brings training, strategy and implementation together in one AI-native professional services firm

AI is making work faster. This firm believes consulting should get faster too.

Get AI Ready has acquired AI Avenue’s AI training business and capability for an undisclosed amount. The two businesses will now operate as AI Ready (AIRE), a new professional services firm built to help established mid-market organisations put AI to work.

The company’s proposition is straightforward: clients should pay for business outcomes, not armies of consultants or months of billable hours.

Traditional consulting firms were built for a time when expertise was scarce, technology projects took years and scale required large teams. AI is changing those economics. Research can happen faster. Problems can be identified sooner. Smaller, more experienced teams can do work that once required a consulting pyramid.

AIRE has been designed around that opportunity.

Its team brings together former consultants, entrepreneurs, operators, trainers, data scientists and engineers. They know how large firms solve complex problems. They also know how entrepreneurs work: quickly, practically and with personal accountability for the result.

The business will initially focus on established mid-market organisations across Australia and New Zealand. These companies often have valuable data, complicated workflows and significant opportunities for automation. They are also close enough to their operations to move quickly once they know where to begin.

Across the region, AIRE is seeing huge demand from SME management teams from mining companies to education, real estate and financial services businesses for AI understanding. These teams see a real opportunity in automation for their businesses and view business relevance as indivisible in a new AI world.

What they frequently lack is a partner that can take them from understanding AI to using it productively.

AIRE intends to be that partner.

Brett Raven, CEO of AIRE, said:

“We’re seeing significant demand from Australian organisations, especially across the SME and mid-market segments, that know AI can change the way they operate but don’t want another heavy, slow-moving consulting engagement. They want practical capability, clear use cases, fast delivery and a partner who can stay with them from training through to implementation.

“This part of the market has enormous upside. Many of these businesses are close enough to their operations to move quickly, but they need help cutting through the noise and turning AI into real workflow, productivity and customer outcomes.

“AI Avenue has built real momentum by helping leaders and teams understand what AI actually means for their work. Bringing that capability into AIRE gives us a much stronger end-to-end offer and allows us to help clients move from curiosity and education into measurable business impact.”

Experienced people doing the work

The firm will be senior-led. Clients will work with experienced professionals who understand both enterprise complexity and the commercial pressure to deliver quickly.

The core team has experience across Accenture, PwC, KPMG, enterprise software, entrepreneurship, data science and engineering. It is supported by a delivery network of more than 70 specialists across Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka through Rhino Partners.

The business has already signed partnerships across Databricks (certified delivery partner), Anthropic, Mistral, Sierra, OpenAI, Microsoft & Amazon and has core capabilities across modern data platforms and AI implementation.

This allows AIRE to bring together the people required for a particular outcome without making the client carry the cost and complexity of a conventional large consulting engagement.

Andy Hannagan, Founder of AI Avenue and incoming Head of Training at AIRE, said:

“Over the past six months, we’ve trained more than 3,000 people across Australian boardrooms, leadership teams and frontline business functions. What has become clear in every session is that AI adoption is not just about the technology. It starts with people.

“AI does not lead. People do. The real opportunity is helping individuals understand how to direct, guide and apply AI to the work that matters most to them. When that clicks, the energy in the room changes very quickly, even in some of the most traditional sectors.

“The natural next question from participants is always: how do we apply this across our business? Joining AIRE means we can now support clients through that whole journey, from building immediate productivity in enterprise AI tools, through to strategy, workflow redesign and implementation.”

Within 12 months of operation, AIRE’s client work has included some large Australian brands such as UNSW, University of Sydney, Accor, NSW Health, the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Programmed, Ausbil, Allura and NEXTDC.

AIRE currently serves clients across ANZ, Singapore, EMEA and the UK, expecting to more than double its headcount and delivery capacity over the next 12 months based on current momentum.
